My Client are a trusted and well regarded Investment firm who have a unique opportunity for a Investment Administrator to join their team in central Bristol and in return a competitive salary and benefit package can be offered with genuine career progression prospects available.


Main Purpose of role
To assist one or more Investment Managers in effective and efficient team support and client administration, including client portfolios


Main tasks and duties include:
Arrange Bank Transfers to client bank or Third Party Payments.
Analysis and interrogation of portfolio information on the database.
Dealing with queries from clients and intermediaries.
Provide clients and/or their agents with information and reports about their portfolio.
Update databases where appropriate, including CRM.
Assist in the six monthly distributions of review packs for the entire client base as well as the yearly distribution of tax packages.
Assist the Investment Managers in monitoring and reviewing client suitability.
Assist with the drafting of suitability letters.
Administration of deceased accounts.
Arrange portfolio transfers.
To assist in the production of investment proposals.
To ensure all duties and tasks are completed within all relevant rules, compliance regulations and in-house policies and procedures.
To ensure all client relationships are properly documented on a timely basis, including checking that "Know Your Client" information is maintained


Experience and skills required:
Experience within the private client investment industry would be an advantage. But candidates with experience of working in professional services or the equivalent will also be considered.
Ideally, looking for an individual with 2/3 years’ of administrative experience.
Commercially astute with excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage and influence at all levels across the business and the wider organisation.
Confidence, drive, energy, resilience and tenacity to deliver success in a challenging business environment
Educated to a minimum of A level standard or above.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
