Investigator - Welwyn Garden City
Investigator required within a criminal justice department specialising in the safeguarding of children. The role would include dealing with victims, witnesses, offenders within custody and working alongside detectives and children services amongst other partner agencies. This position is on a long term temporary basis.
The individual must be able to collect relevant documents from the investigation in order to create an overall picture of the case. Search of premises of detained individuals will be carried out as well as seizing items for further information, evidence from which you will use to produce a satisfactory outcome. Some suspects may need to be interviewed. You will be responsible to produce written evidence and attend court if needs be.
We are looking for experienced candidates in criminal investigations and following investigative processes, as such, it is preferable the candidate comes from a detective background with experience in policing.
Due to the nature of this position, security checks will be carried out prior to commencing work with us.
This position is on a shift pattern and attracts a shift allowance, details of which can be given on CV submission.
