My Client are a global business with European HQ located in the heart of West Sussex with numerous distribution centres located throughout Europe.
Working with circa one hundred thousand SKU's, they have a large inventory count but have a relatively small and intimate HQ team given the scale of their operation.
The role of Inventory Planner will be responsible for creating supply chain demand forecasts, which will also include;
Inventory Planning
KPI Management & Reporting
Achieving Consumable and Non-Consumable corporate turn targets
Preparing and leading inventory reviews
Creating and maintaining the accuracy of Parts in BAAN
Regularly reviewing ERP reports
Inventory Transition Management.
This role will suit an experienced Demand, Supply or Inventory Planner who has worked with a very high SKU count when it comes to creating and maintaining accurate rolling forecasts. It will also most suit someone who has been forecasting across a multi-regional inventory environment.
To be suitable for this role you will have excellent data analysis skills and strong experience in the use of Excel that will include data extracting, applying and using Pivot Tables and using Formulas at an advanced level.
The business also use Business Objects / Crystal Reporting.
It would be advantageous if you have APICS, CIPS or another relevant qualification.
