My client is a leader in their field and are looking for an International Payroll Assistant to come on and join their team on a permanent bases. With offices in Australia, US and Europe the successful candidates needs to have at least 1-2 years international payroll experience.
§ Assist in the running of the international payroll from end to end.
§ Working closely with HR on starters/leavers/pay changes to action for payroll.
§ Take control of running the US payroll liaising with the outsourced payroll providers.
§ Understand and complete the sign off reports for the Finance Director to review and sign off payroll
§ Understand and contribute to the year end processes
§ Update and process employee benefit calculations and complete P11D’s
§ Completing the gender pay gap reporting on an annual basis and providing accurate data to the exec board to review
§ Assist in the calculation and processing of sales bonus payments
§ Complete all statutory maternity/paternity pay schedules and go through it with the employee
§ Learn and own the car allowance process
§ Assist with running the pension process on a monthly basis and ensuring funds are paid over to the pension provider on time
§ Build relationship with HR and other related stakeholders for mutual benefit
§ Maintaining all payroll process manuals to ensure they are up to date
§ Maintain secure and professional handling of employee sensitive information
§ Challenge discrepancies and errors in employee data
§ Liaise with HMRC where necessary and under the guidance of the Payroll Supervisor
§ Assist with ledger postings into Navision (accounting system)
§ Assist with audit queries
§ Shadow the Payroll Supervisor to build up knowledge to cover when required
§ Capturing any loan deductions / general deductions for all staff in a timely manner
§ Complete and have a full understanding of selected balance sheet reconciliations
§ Act as focal point on payroll related queries
§ Maintain the payroll queries mailbox
