We are currently recruiting for an International Credit Control Manager for our client in Crawley. This role has no direct reports, but high level of responsibility. You will be working within a small team and the role involves close integration with all departments and levels of management.
Key Duties
- Responsible for a ledger of around US$10m relating to sales from the US, UK, Germany, Dubai, China, Singapore, Poland, New Zealand and Australia
- Directly collecting debts for over 250 live accounts throughout Europe, Asia and Africa from the US, UK, German, Dubai and Singapore offices.
- Overseeing collection of debts for over 100 live accounts in Australia and China
- Providing weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting and analysis of debt and risk status to directors and account managers
- Managing the day to day release of orders and customers on hold
- Chasing debtors on a daily basis by phone, fax, letter and email
- Analysing the customer database to reduce DSO and possible risk exposure
- Processing or assisting with payments via sight draft or letters of credit
- Reviewing and setting up new accounts and agreeing credit terms up to 20,000 and terms of 30 days EOM
- Setting and reviewing credit limits for existing customers up to a limit of 20,000 and payment terms of up to 30 days EOM
- Creating and maintaining credit related policies and procedures
- Processing payments on a daily basis
- Resolving or assisting in the resolution of queries and issues that arise including raising credits for certain situations
- Assisting with ad hoc accounts related tasks when required
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Finance Director
Ensuring electronic invoices/statements are sent in a correct and timely manner

- Finance system experience
