My client is looking for an experienced part-time interim project manager to provide excellent intellect, flexible support to deliver our project work.

You will need in-depth expertise in project management and bid support, balanced with good common sense and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

You will have experience working within or bidding for contracts in the public sector. You will be highly effective at getting things done and have an ability to juggle a number of priorities. You will be at ease moving between the strategic and the operational aspects of work. You will be able to equally lead a meeting of managers or undertake administrative work, as the project requires. You will have experience in managing the workload of yourself and others within a project and you will have a sharp, organised and focused mind.

The role will include researching the market, creating documentation and co-ordinating the activities of a number of current projects.

Excellent IT and communication abilities are a must. A qualification in PRINCE2 or MSP would be advantageous but of equal value would be strong evidence of successful delivery of projects.

A background in business development or marketing would also be beneficial in this role.

The role is expected to last from 30 October 2017 to 20 February 2018.
