Reed HR London & City Branch are looking for an Interim HR Assistant for an organisation based in SW London. This role is only suitable for candidates who are immediately available

Our client provides expert guidance on Trade, Education, Maritime and Policy Development

As the Human Resources Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Human Resources (Operations) Section comprising of a team of Human Resources Advisers, Human Resources Officers, and Assistant Human Resources Officer led by the Adviser and Head of HR Operations. You will assist in all activities related to recruitment, contract administration, training and development and any other duties as and when required.

You will be responsible for:

• Monitoring the process of issuing new and renewed contracts for staff.
• Monitoring and issuance of contracts for their clients Fund.
• Processing of payments via the finance system as required.
• Acting as the central point of contact for general HR enquiries regarding day-to-day operational matters.
• Participating in selection panel evaluations for short-term recruitments as required.

You should be able to demonstrate:

• A history of working under pressure in a customer service environment;
• The ability to make contributions to and create a positive atmosphere within a team environment under minimum supervision;
• Well-developed organisational and analytical skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and clients;
• A flexible approach to planning and managing work and to adapt to changing priorities whilst ensuring that deadlines are met;
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written;
