Main purpose of the role
To provide expert advice and guidance to the company on the application of conditions of service and other human resource matters in adherence with current employment legislation and best practice.
Manage a number of employee relations cases, providing advice and guidance on conditions of service and employment matters for staff
Develop and implement Company Policies ensuring appropriate research and consultation takes place and each new or updated policy has a tailored communications plan.
Analyse changes and updates in employment legislation and implement into Company policy and procedures ensuring our practices are legally sound.
Research human resource issues as appropriate and consider the impact on the Company providing updates and presentations as required.
Coach managers to improve their self-sufficiency in managing staffing issues.
Work with the HR Service Team to ensure policies and processes are effective and operate in a efficient and customer focused way.
Advise managers on the application of best practice, in supporting effective staff performance
Working knowledge of current employment legislation
Well-developed consultancy skills with an ability to contribute to business development through HR solutions
Experience of working across a number of HR disciplines
Experience of delivering successful change programmes
Experience of employment policy development
