I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation based in Belfast, who are seeking to recruit an Interim Communications Support Officer.

This role is to provide support throughout a busy period for the communications work; to deliver on specific projects and campaigns as well as manage some of the day to day aspects of communications. This role is on-going temporary.

Key responsibilities and tasks will include:


- To support the delivery and achievement of key activities and tasks within the communications and marketing plan
- To support the delivery and evaluation of campaigns as directed by the communications and marketing manager
- To provide communications support for the successful delivery of high profile stakeholder events
- To Produce brand collateral, supporting online and offline communications material for six upcoming meetings, as well as offering events management support
- To support the Communications Manager in overseeing brand; checking external communications for brand consistency and proof reading communications
- To provide accurate and fault free writing and editing support for outbound communication including promotional materials, web copy, press releases and other brand collateral
- Ensure marketing effectiveness and adherence to brand guidelines and best practice communications
- To produce accurate and appropriate copy for online Web, Digital and Social Media platforms and for offline print formats specific to campaigns, projects and events
- To project manage the production of campaign brand collateral from start to completion as directed by the communications manager
- To be competent and capable in the use of social media and digital marketing producing relevant and appropriate copy
- To be experienced in working in a productive and coordinated way with various agencies including PR, Creative, Advertising and Print to achieve high quality results
- To ensure that policies, procedures and corporate standards are adhered to at all times

Person Specification

Essential

- Educated to degree level in marketing, communications, PR or business studies or an equivalent specialism
- Proven experience in writing professional web and marketing copy
- Excellent communications skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way
- Proactive and highly organised with strong project, planning and time management
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task
- Proven experience of working on your own and as part of a team
- Strong IT skills to include an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office

Desirable

- Events Management
- Proven experience in supporting communications for high profile stakeholder events
- Campaigns Management
