Do you have experience in researching and presenting data?

Our client, a provider of public services, are seeking an Intelligence Researcher on a temporary basis for the next 12 months.

This is a full time role, and you will need to be committed for the duration required.
They are located close to Chelmsford City Centre, with easy transport links to and from their headquarters.

-Providing a research capability to build a picture on any given issue, recording information in the appropriate form adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
-Collect and collate information regarding specific areas of criminality, including the activities of known / suspected criminals.
-To develop reports, spreadsheets, charts and maps summarising clearly, concisely and accurately key findings.
-Recording data onto systems as appropriate.
-Research fcomputer systems and other available sources, recording information in the appropriate form adhering the relevant policies and procedures.
-Liaising with other areas and with other agencies in order to exchange relevant information.
-To attend meetings and give presentations internally and at other locations, and/or with colleagues from other departments or agencies.
-Maintaining professional relationships, providing support to the intelligence analysts and other intelligence personnel including preparation of information for subsequent analysis / operational activity to take place.
-To support the development of products to identify intelligence opportunities, links and crossovers between priority and other high risk areas.
-To carry out any other duties commensurate with the purpose and grading of the post.

Experience required:
- To have worked within a similar role previously
- To have worked within the Public Sector
- To have ample experience gathering, analysing and presenting data
- To have worked in a high compliance setting
- To have a strong, proven, working knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Excel to an intermediate level
- To be immediately available to start work

To be successful for this role, you will also need to undergo a series of enhanced background checks, including cleared police vetting.
