My client in Woking is currently looking for an Insight Analyst to join them on a full time permanent basis. 

Role Purpose


Working within the Inform team based in the Office in Woking, the Insight Analyst is charged with delivering ‘executional excellence’ across the required insight function.

This is a data centric role with key emphasis on data manipulation, interpretation, visualisation and insight. Identifying commercial opportunity.

The role will be predominantly based in Woking with travel which is regular and frequent to offices in Gatwick.


Key Activities

The key activities which are listed below highlight the key activities within your client and role.

Inform analytical capability:
• Thorough understanding the Market & Category context, strategy and Supply Chain objectives
• Initiate insight projects as well as respond to needs
• Development and roll out of Supply chain deliverables and analysis for major supermarket multiples

New Insight opportunities:
• The role will be required to liaise regularly with contacts leading the Supply chain project ensuring successful delivery and integration into the clients processes and routines
• Providing Inform support and investigating opportunities for new analysis and insight
• Attending meetings, understanding requirements, developing briefs and providing proposals and analysis as a result

Operational analysis:
• Size of prize – forecasting the impact of the Supply Chain operation
• Return on Investment – measuring the actual impact of Supply Chain analysis

Impact analysis:
• Supply chain
o NPD launches
o Promotional availability & effectiveness
o On shelf availability and opportunity analysis
• Supply Chain operational efficiencies

Presentations:
Regular attendance at meetings and presentations. Presenting the impact of the Supply Chain initiative and other analysis.

Reporting:
• Fulfilling complex multi data reporting, presented in an intuitive, flexible, impactful, user friendly format.
• Lead the development of additional reporting as required


Qualifications/skills: 

Degree (ideally) – statistical/marketing/business discipline
Good broad commercial skills
Problem solving & decision making
High PC literacy; excellent Excel essential
Presentation skills
Great visual communication of data
Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Excellent time management and multi tasking skills
Initiative and flexibility
First class English both written and verbal
Driving licence
