Once again, we are proudly representing our Lancashire based, highly successful Accountancy and Wealth Management practice client in the recruitment of their latest star talent. Established for over 100 years now, our client is well-known in the industry and prides themselves on offering complete client commitment, and, quality, strategic advice to their longstanding clients. They have well over 100 specialists who work to support their clients through all aspects of accountancy and financial advice, and due to an increase in demand post-pandemic, they are on the lookout for an up and coming Independent Financial Advisor to join their thriving team at a Junior level.
To work as part of the established Wealth Management team, providing an excellent service to clients, in accordance with the firm’s values, procedures, prevailing legislation, and good professional practices. The role requires an experienced Financial Advisor who can settle in quickly and form fruitful relationships with our existing client base, as well as securing new business and exceeding our clients’ expectations and needs.
Plenty of support, guidance and learning is available. Our client is a firm believer in developing their valued staff and they have the facilities and know-how to help and guide a Junior IFA along in their early career, post qualification.
Provide financial planning support to clients
Support investment professionals to cultivate client relationships
Prepare plans and check their accuracy
Respond to prospective customers on planning-related queries
Assist in the development plans for the company
Offer subject matter expertise to fellow Advisors
Maintain awareness of the latest legislative changes that may affect planning
Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
Some experience post-qualification would be highly desirable. Starting salaries will be reflect upon this.
You will ideally already have an established client base of your own and be able to transfer those clients over with you. Successful candidates will be favoured for this, however as this is a junior level role, there are no expectations that existing clients can be brought over. In this case, you will need to be able to secure business and service our existing clients effectively with guidance.
Be familiar with the use of recognised software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills as there will be contact with clients at all levels.
Have good organisational skills as well as the ability to take initiative and contribute to the effective running of the department.
You must be highly enthusiastic and determined to succeed and be able to willing to continually develop your knowledge and skills in Financial Advice.
