I am delighted to be working alongside a boutique firm in South Essex.
They currently have several advisers dotted around nationwide, with one living and working remotely up north and looking after her own clients.
The managing director feels his client bank is far too big and is now looking to redistribute some clients out. They are a general practice, so they have some clients with a few hundred thousand invested and some with multiple millions.
They work with established introducers from firms such as local legal and accountancy practices.
You will be able to avail of one of 3 paraplanners and 3 admin staff, as well as a receptionist who can aid you manage your diary/ appointments if needed.
They’re looking to pay a basic salary in the region of £50,000, but if you were to bring clients or if you excel during the interview process, this is not a hard-and-fast number and can increase.
The bonus structure would require you to write £150k in fees (pro-rated quarterly) to start getting bonus, and they have a recent success story with an adviser who started 4 years ago on £50k and he’s now earning 3x that.
He’s good at getting new business, but this firm has given him a lot of clients and opportunities as well. Everything there is set-up for the success of the advisor.
They’re very happy with flexible working, frankly, as long as the results are there they don’t mind if you work remotely.
They’re a diverse, young company, with a young team that has no big egos.
