The Hyde Group is one of the largest landlords in the UK. They own and manage over 50,000 properties across London and the South East. They are a not for profit organisation with a big commercial focus and a big heart!

Purpose of the role:
Centrally manage the prevention and recovery of rent arrears and other debts for all tenure types (to include but not limited to Rent accounts, homeowner accounts, sundry accounts &former tenant accounts) in an efficient manner in accordance with Policy and Procedure providing a professional and proficient customer-focused service to The Hyde Group residents. Regularly liaise with the local stakeholders to help residents meet their tenancy obligations and retain their tenancy.
Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Take the lead on responding back to all resident correspondence in regard to the management of their account and ensure they are resolved in a manner that improves overall customer satisfaction/experience.
• Record any dissatisfaction in accordance with The Hyde Groups complaints policy and procedure.
• To enable Residents to manage themselves through Welfare Reform Changes in line with the Agenda. To maintain expertise and knowledge on Welfare Reform to provide advice and guidance.
• Ensure residents receive appropriate advice and guidance regarding benefits and welfare entitlements in order to maximise the resident’s potential income, making appropriate referrals where identified.
• Work within and adhere to all timescales and controls set out in the Income Services Policy and Procedures such as escalations. Make the Income Team Leader aware immediately where issues are identified.
• Offer money management advice in order to assist the resident in prioritisation of rent and service charge payments and reduction of arrears. Refer cases to appropriate teams/external agencies where more in depth advice is required.
• Contribute to the achievement of Income services targets and objectives by effectively managing individual performance. Ensuring no delays in the processing of information or impact on service delivery.
• To prepare all necessary paperwork in order to make an application to County Court for possession proceedings and/or money judgements ensuring all associated protocols have been completed.
• To represent Hyde by attending and presenting cases professionally at court to successfully securing possession orders and/or money judgements.
• To prepare professional eviction reports for approval, in line with policy and procedure. To attend and carry out an eviction.
• Work closely with the Local Team to ensure no delays in the processing of information or impact on service delivery.
• To update and maintain management information systems, maintaining detailed up to date records and file notes of all residents contact including action taken. Provide support with manual inputting of tasks on to Iworld such as Housing benefit information.
• Handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity and comply with the data protection act at all times.

Hours: Start date and duration:
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm 35 hours per week, ASAP for 12 weeks
