Salary: £21,370 - £22,562 per annum 
Hours: 0.913 FTE

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a Great College on an exciting new role in the Surrey area.

Starting immediately, the college are looking for an outstanding Inclusion Officer to join them on a permanent basis. 

The College:

Staff and students of our client are once again continuing the successful trend of recent years and are currently celebrating an outstanding 100% pass rate at Level 3 with over 83% of students achieving high grades in their BTEC qualifications (equivalent to A* to B across 3 A Levels). The College is also celebrating its first set of A Level results for several years, demonstrating an amazing 100% pass rate.

The Role:

· You will be working face to face with young learners
· You will act as a mentor and coach to 'at risk learners' using positive intervention and inclusion strategies skills.
· To act as a Duty Manager
· To support the campus team, deliver a positive and safe learning environment
· To build proactively train, maintain and coordinate the college's internal and external mentors (staff and students mentors)
· To create effective inclusion strategies with learners and their parents/carers
· To complete PEPs, CAFs and other multi agency referral forms
· To complete reintegration meetings, track action plans and evaluate impact.
· You will be working with students aged 16+

What you will need

· Minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English or equivalent 
· Experience of youth or social work 
· Experience mentoring young adults
· Ability to support and supervise young adults within an educational environment 
· Abilitiy to plan, implement and evaluate straegies designed to engage young adults in education
· An awareness of issues affecting young adults
· Well-developed written and oral communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
