Reed Education Bristol are currently working with a great local school, on an exciting role for an ICT and Computer Science Teacher. To start in September, the school are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of ICT and Computer Science to join them on a full time, fixed term contract from 01/09/2017 – 31/08/2018.

Whether you are an experienced ICT and Computer Science Teacher looking for your next new challenge, or an NQT wanting to secure your first teaching position, we want to hear from you.

You will be teaching ICT across the full age and ability range, to at least GCSE level, and Computer Science to KS4. Head of Department responsibility would be available for the right candidate.

• This larger than average Secondary School caters for around 1,250 11 – 18 year olds.
• They aim to provide high quality teaching and learning with exceptional pastoral care and a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
• They are a positive, secure and happy community school where everyone has a voice.
• You will be joining an experienced and friendly team, in a well-resourced ICT department.

What you will need:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status or NQT.
• The ability to teach ICT across the full age and ability range to at least GCE level.
• The ability to teach Computer Science to at least level 2 (KS4).
• You should be competent and passionate in your subject.
• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements in ICT.
• Strong communication, inter-personal and organisational skills.
