A leading legal firm in Birminghgam is looking to recruit support to its HR Shared Service team due to continued international growth.

Main duties and responsibilities:
· Provide support and guidance for the HR Shared Services team regarding day to day right to work queries.
· Create and maintain Tier 2 sponsor supporting packs compliant with Home Office audit standard.
· Provide administration support for the International Lawyers for Africa (ILFA) programme.
· Carry out monthly audits to ensure workers are eligible to work in the UK and HRSS have accurately recorded on the HR system.
· Review weekly reports relating to Non-EEA/sponsored employees and escalate the compliance advisor where necessary.
· Monitor visa expiry dates and flag to Group HR.
· Develop and maintain good relationships with all key internal contacts and external third parties.
· Maintain to-do/action list and follow up with Compliance Advisor to ensure actions are completed in a timely manner.
· Ensure that the implications of the Data Protection Act and the Firm’s Information Security Policy are considered at all times.
· Act as a process champion for all compliance activities.
· Report late leavers on the Information Security Forum. Investigate where necessary.
· Assist with providing responses to bids, surveys and questionnaires that require HR input.
· Provide administrative support for all Data Subject Access Requests.
· Audit/spot check electronic filing system.
· Support Compliance Advisor with any miscellaneous administrative tasks.
· Attend regular events, training and liaise with market contacts to remain up to date with all current affairs regarding Immigration, Data Protection and Information Security.

Relevant Experience:
· 2 years administration experience preferably within an HR or a professional services background.
Key Skills:
· Strong customer service focus, with excellent written, face to face and telephone communication skills.
· Well organised, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
· Ability to work well in a team and to work on own initiatives
· Cooperative and willing to assist others, continually shares skills and knowledge
· Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality
· Demonstrates a high level of diligence and attention to detail
· Strong IT skills
· Demonstrates learning agility, is flexible and adaptable
