In this role you will join a team that delivers all aspects of HR and staff development support services e.g. employee relations; employment law compliance; development and implementation of effective policies and procedures, job evaluation, providing professional HR and staff development advice, development and performance management reviews; CPD and equalities and diversity work etc.
As the HR Officer (TEMP 3 months fixed term) you will be responsible for:
• Policy Review - Ensure that HR policies are reviewed, developed and implemented consistently across the business. Core values of the company concerning people management are upheld, especially those concerned with fairness, equal opportunity and the management of diversity.
• HR Advisory - Coach and counsel management on employee relations matters including conduct, ill health/absence management, performance management, discipline, dismissal, grievance and appeals, and action as an expert advisor to any panel.
• Management Information - Ensure that accurate records are maintained and provide management information, advice, guidance and support to managers in order to ensure that appropriate and consistent actions are taken in achieving success against the people strategy.
• Legislative - Assist the Cultural Leader (People and Organisational Development) in employment policy formulation, development and implementation and keeping abreast of developments in employment legislation and practice, ensuring compliance with all employment and business related UK and EU legislation.
The perfect person for this role will have a passion for HR, proven experience in managing people, in-depth knowledge of current and forthcoming employment legislation, excellent relationship management skills and qualifications in Human Resource Management.
