Our client is a highly reputable and successful organisation in Belfast city Centre who require an experienced HR Officer for a period of maternity cover

As HR Officer you will provide comprehensive support to HR Management and employees across the organisation.
This includes:
• Providing HR advice and guidance on policies, procedures, employment legislation and best practice
• Absence management of short and long term cases
• Support and advise line managers dealing with investigations, disciplinary and grievance issues
• Provide advice and support on performance management issues
• Ensure quality checks are completed on recruitment documents including vacancy authorization, JD's/ personal specifications and short listing
• Support Senior HR colleagues with HR projects and employee relations as required
• Prepare financial reports for Senior Management
• Support and undertake training as required
• Participate in meetings within all departments as required

• At least 2 years’ experience working to a HR Officer level in a generalist role plus CIPD qualified or working towards OR at least 3 years’ experience working at a HR Officer level in a generalist role
• One years’ experience creating and HR reports for MI purposes
• Comprehensive knowledge of current and pending employment legislation
• Experience of employee relation cases, to include, discipline and grievance, and investigation participation
• Flexible to meet the needs of the business
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
