Reed HR are delighted to support our client a highly successful business in the North Down area who require an experienced HR Officer to join their busy team

As HR Officer you will work closely with Senior Management to deliver an efficient HR service across a fast paced business. This is an ideal role for an HR professional who has solid HR Generalist experience and ideally some exposure to implementing Health & Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to management and employees on HR policies and procedures
• Ensure the company policies are in line with current employment legislation and are consistently implemented
• Support all Employee Relations issues including investigations, disciplinary and grievances
• Agree and coordinate all recruitment and selection in line with business requirements
• Monitor short and long term absence ensuring appropriate action taken and reports complied for management
• Support Health & Safety and employee training ensuring all employees adhere within legislation
• Complete all induction training for new employees
• Maintain and update all employee records
• Compile HR weekly and monthly reports for management
• Complete all HR related administration and planning

The ideal Candidate:
• A minimum of 3 years generalist experience within a fast paced HR role
• Excellent knowledge of employment legislation
• CIPD qualification or working towards
• NEBOSH certified or good working knowledge of Health & Safety within manufacturing workplace
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with great attention to detail
• Confident working knowledge of all Micro soft packages and HR management systems
