My client is a leading organisation based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, who are looking for a HR Manager to join their team on a twelve month fixed term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is ideally CIPD qualified or working towards. This role is available on a full or part time basis. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:-

* Providing advise and guidance to Managers on all HR matters
* Updating and implementing HR policies and procedures
* Keeping up to date with Employment Law legislation
* Maintaining the company handbook and ensuring it is up to date
* Dealing with Employee Relation issues including disciplinary and grievance cases up to dismissal and appeal stage
* Performance management
* Responsible for Recruitment, selection and retention of staff including the management of the induction process
* Managing the HR files and payroll records
* Sickness absence management
* Responsible for Training and Development
* Change management 
* Responsible for Health and Safety and maintaining knowledge and implementing changes with regard to Health and Safety legislation

Experience and Skills required:

* CIPD qualified
* Experienced HR generalist
* Experienced in dealing with complex Employee Relation issues
* Experience of dealing with Training and Development and Health and Safety
* Ability to work in a stand alone role and be self-motivated
* Full clean driving license required for this post
