My client is a leading organisation based in South Leeds, West Yorkshire, who are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. In this role you will provide advice and assistance to the organisation and employees on HR policies and procedures. This role is available on a full time or part time basis for the right person. 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Keeping up to date employment legislation and implementing necessary changes
• Providing advice and guidance to line managers on all HR matters
• HR policy formulation, design, review and implementation
• Maintain employee handbook
• Performance management
• Dealing with employee relation issues including disciplinary and grievance cases
• Responsible for recruitment and selection
• Maintain HR records and files
• Sickness absence management
• Training and Development
• Health and Safety duties

Experience and Skills required:

* CIPD qualified or working towards
* Previous HR generalist experience 
* Previous management experience 
* The ability to effectively lead change and build team morale 
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
