Our client is seeking a dedicated full time HR Manager to work in a stand-alone role within their organisation in the Poole area.
The role will involve all aspects of HR and it is vital that you are comfortable and willing to deliver and develop the day to day running of the HR function from strategy, policy, practice development and administration. This is more of an operational/transactional HR role as they have a strategy in place.
- Deliver all aspects of HR including employment policies and practice, recruitment, performance management, ER, reward and administration
- Ensure all policies and guidance documentation are up to date
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers across the organisation
- Manage the recruitment selection which would include writing job specifications, posting adverts, sourcing suitable candidates, arranging interviews and drafting/sending out contracts
- Be in charge of the absences within the organisation
- Liaise with the finance team to ensure all payroll information is reported on time
- Prepare new starter packs
- Plan and develop the volunteer side of the organisation. Be the first point of contact for all volunteering enquiries as well as revising and reviewing volunteer policies.
- Provide and organise induction and role specific training to volunteers and place then appropriately within the organisation
The successful candidate for this role will have the following:-
* Strong HR generalist background
* Ideally CIPD qualified
* Good knowledge of HR administration systems
* Experience working in a stand-alone position and happy to undertake the administrative side of HR.
* Strong organisational skills
*Ability to work with people who might be dealing with sensitive situations
