HR Manager - Portsmouth Area - Fixed Term Contract - Flexible Working

Due to increasing the team our client are seeking an experienced HR Manager to work on the management/implementation of recruitment, payroll and HR functions for a government project. You will be involved in managing all HR elements.

Main Responsibilities:
• Act as a key player in the procurement process as an evaluator or bids

• You will be expected to have experience in contract management and be able to work in a high volume environment that provides a range of HR issues under different contracts of employment.

• Be involved in contract management which includes SLA and KPI delivery as well as managing compliance, auditing and consistency.

• Develop HR policies and processes for a unique workforce therefore experience in private and public sector would be beneficial. You would also involve balancing the requirements of the stakeholder with civil service and employment law requirements.

• Manage high risk HR cases and ensure advice is given in timely and appropriately. Experience with complex case work would be advantageous.

• Demonstrate knowledge of employment legislation and best practice

• Have responsibilities of managing cases through to court which would involve preparing documentation, managing solicitors and stockholders

As a successful candidate will have the following:
• CIPD Membership or relevant experience
• Experience in the requested areas of HR as well as Contract Management Field

Other Requirements:
• There will be occasional travel as part of your role and this may include overnight stays. The frequency of this is dependent on when you are evaluating suppliers.
