Our growing Media client based in Central London is seeking a talented HR Manager to work in a stand-alone role reporting in to the CFO with a salary of up to £40,000 on offer


What does the role entail?

As the HR Manager working in a standalone position you will be involved in all areas of HR covering the full recruitment process from creation of job adverts, to screening and interviewing candidates, right through to onboarding, as well as training and developing throughout the employee lifecycle. You will take ownership of ER, although there are few issues you will advise on disciplinaries, grievances and performance management making sure the right processes are followed and assisting in the exit process. You will keep abreast of any changes in legislation or UK Law amending existing policies and procedures or creating new ones as needed. Payroll is outsourced however you will be the 1st point of contact for all HR, Payroll and benefits queries. On top of these duties you will have ad hoc project work as well as day to day system updating and administrative responsibilities.


What skills will you have?

You will be an experienced HR Manager with a strong Generalist skillset happy working in multicultural business. You will be confident and have a strong personality whilst remaining approachable. You will also enjoy getting involved in all areas of HR and be happy dealing with all the recruitment needs to grow the business. Ideally you will be immediately available or on a notice period no longer than 4 weeks. An understanding of Arabic would be an added bonus but not essential, however you must be culturally sensitive. CIPD qualification is desirable however skillset is key.
