What is this role?

This role is for a 3 month internship working within a highly visible, business-focused, operational HR role, delivering HR strategies to underpin REED’s company objectives.

You will work closely with the HR Business Partner and senior management, conducting in-depth analysis of HR management information such as turnover statistics, performance ratings and headcount. In addition, you will provide administrative support with a number of HR processes, including, but not limited to, disciplinary meetings, grievances, absence management and flexible working procedures.

This internship will provide the ideal opportunity for anybody looking to kick-start their career in HR. The role will be fast-paced and varied and the successful candidate will take overall responsibility for a number of fundamental tasks, including conducting exit interviews and compiling casework reports for senior management.

• Responsible for running reports and conducting analysis on HR management information for multiple business areas. Be able to use this information to identify HR or business trends.
• Provide administrative support for the HR team with employee relations issues. This includes arranging meetings, taking meeting minutes and drafting formal letters.
• Conduct in-depth exit interviews with any employees leaving the business and collate feedback to be presented to management.
• Provide support for HR projects, as required.

Who would suit this role?

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. You will need to be confident analysing complex data to identify trends, discrete because you are handling confidential information, and also have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be required to build successful relationships across our business network up to senior management level and you will need to be able to do this over the phone and face to face.
You will need to be willing to travel across the UK (expenses will be covered).
