Role HR Business Partner

What you’ll do…
• Work closely with senior leaders to develop an HR agenda that delivers organisational change by aligning business objectives with HR strategy, to achieve cultural and behavioural change to create a great working environment. 

• Serve as a consultant to leaders on people management issues, acting as an employee champion and a change agent, identifying key risk areas, whilst providing objective and professional expertise.

What you’ll be responsible for…

• Research, design and develop HR initiatives in support of the HR strategy.
• Analyse people management, financial and organisational data. Working with managers to identify areas for organisational performance improvement and innovation to drive strategy in each business area.
• Embed a performance management culture within each business area as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives.
• Oversee the work of the Assistant HR Business Partner and lead and develop one HR Assistant to deliver excellent service.
• Coach, challenge and influence leaders to develop the required organisational capability and anticipate the changing needs of the business.
• Lead on business area change projects from a people perspective to demonstrate value for money.
• Manage a personal caseload delivering proactive, clear, consistent and quality advice to leaders on people management activity.
• Provide HR support and guidance to leaders to ensure consistent application of policy to support the needs of the business and the needs of individual end users.
• Ensure the relationship between Trivallis and our employees is managed within a clear transparent framework, underpinned by policies and procedures and ultimately employment law.
• Inform, consult and negotiate with staff, managers, senior leaders and Trade Unions to achieve organisational objectives.
• Deputise for the Head of Human Resources when necessary.

Who you’ll be working with
• You will lead, manage and develop a designated HR Assistant (1 post).
• You will provide work and direction to the Assistant HR Business Partner in the absence of the Head of HR.
• You will be a member of the Senior Management Teams in each business area.
• You will work closely with the Head of Human Resources, the Learning and Development Manager, other HR Business Partners and L&D Business Partners.
• You will work with Trade Unions and legal advisors to ensure Trivallis works within a fair and lawful environment.
• You will work with external people to improve the working environment and people management capability of our managers.

- CIPD level 7 is required
- Must be able to influence at all levels
- Experienced in data analysis and metrics
- Extensive Employee relations experience
