Reed Business Support is recruiting on behalf of a market leading company in the Blackburn area who are looking for a HR Assistant to join their busy team on a permanent basis, working Monday – Friday 9.30am – 4.00pm.
Our client is looking to recruit a motivated and hardworking HR assistant to provide support and general HR assistance to the business and assist in the overall efficient and smooth running of the HR Function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad spectrum of general HR administration duties, including the administration of SSP calculations, monitoring absence management, and assisting the payroll department with monthly time and attendance information data.
This role will include some recruitment and selection and inductions of new employees.
The successful candidate will have a key interest in HR and will be able to review and update policies and procedures in line with Employment Legislation with the support of the HR Manager. They will also be approachable, reliable, organised, enthusiastic and efficient with excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible attitude to work.
The successful candidate will have good IT skills and be able to demonstrate their previous experience of Microsoft packages.
Benefits include 28 days including Bank holidays and this will increase to 33 days within 3 years service.
Annual pay reviews are also part of this package with a starting pay rate of £10.50 per hour.
