HR Assistant

Our Central London Law client is on the lookout for an ambitious HR Assistant to support a large HR team, with a salary on offer of £27,000.

What does the role entail?

As the HR Assistant you will be integral to supporting the greater HR team with general administrative support as well as the opportunity to work on exciting projects which will aid your development as a HR practitioner.

You will be a key point of contact for fielding HR enquiries, both directly from the employment body and also via the online HR helpdesk. You will work across full Employee Lifecycle tasks, including starter and leaver processes, and probation review processes. As this is an international firm, you will also have the opportunity to support on a variety of Global Mobility responsibilities aiding the movements of various employees across international offices, as well as working on bi-annual salary benchmarking projects, helping prepare the annual HR budget, sit in on critical ER meetings and work on a variety of ad-hoc projects.

What skills will you have?

Ideally, you will have worked in an HR Administrator/Assistant position previously for 1-2 years and have had exposure and understanding of a Legal or Professional Services environment. You will be highly computer literate and carry a relevant HR qualification.

You will be a highly skilled communicator, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills which will see you effectively liaise with the employment body. You are proactive and take initiative in your work, and are able to meet tight deadlines whilst prioritising a varied workload.
