Reed HR are currently working alongside a large international charitable organisation based in Clerkenwell who are looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Officer. This position is a temporary position up until the end of September with the chance to then go permanent. 

Purpose of the role  

As the HR Officer you will be a key member of the HR team, providing comprehensive human resources support to the whole organisation. The role includes general administration across a number of core people management areas including pay and benefits, contractual matters, absence management maintenance of the HR database and recruitment and selection.

Key tasks and responsibilities

1. HR Administration - Pay and benefits

- Implement pay and grading reviews with guidance from the HR Business Partners and Head of HR

- Advise payroll of all businesses UK and International staff changes,
including joiners and leavers, ensuring that all changes are recorded appropriately and ensuring accuracy

2. HR information system -

- Manage, maintain and update the HR database with employee data as relevant

- Provide training, guidance and support for HR system users

-  Coordinate management reporting against measures agreed with the organisation, including sickness absence, turnover, etc.

3. General Coordination and Support

- Act as a coordinator for the HR team and provide first-class general administrative support

- Provide first line support and advice to staff and managers on standard HR policy and practice on sickness absence; contractual matters and related paperwork

- Manage maternity and paternity leave requests; advice staff on AAUK policy and statutory rights, issue letters and update HRIS accordingly.


This is an interim position until the end of September 2017
Candidate will be paid via an umbrella company
