The Human Resources and Administration Officer is responsible for the rational, efficient, and accountable administration of human resources for the local Business Unit and reports directly to the HR Manager
o Routine and on-demand HR/Payroll reports to management provided to allow for informed decision making
o Human Resources is planned, managed, recruited and developed in line with the Strategic Framework
o Standard and on-demand human resources reports provided to management to allow for informed decision making
o Adequate support provided to the HR Manager and Director in Productivity, Performance, and Human resources management
Develop and maintain functional and efficient human resources management and administration systems, processes, procedures, and performance management system.
Track staff movement and enhance record-keeping, internal controls, and compliance with legal, labour requirements.
Contribute to budget preparations and audit activities.
Coordinate the organization of in-house and external meetings and training activities.
Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly internal and external reports in a timely manner, as needed.
Carry out assignments by the HR Manager:
Compensation and Benefits.
Continuous Education & Professional Development Job Requirements.
Provide back up support for other team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Administration with a Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources
management and administration.
Experience in working in virtual teams is essential.
In-depth knowledge and experience in national legislation of the countries within the Business Unit.
Basic knowledge on compensation and benefits is essential.
