Reed HR are working with a School based in Greenwich to recruit a HR Officer / Advisor on a Perm basis. 

The main responsibility of this role will be to hold the HR function within the School and be first point of contact for any all queries relating to Human Resources. 

The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to:

- Taking the lead in coordinating the recruitment process with line managers across the school including booking interviews, building relationships with potential candidates and producing the relevant packs required for the panel interivews. 

- You will be in charge of all Candidate onboarding including ensuring the correct, relevant ETW, DBS and referencing packs are all up to date and in line with current legislation. 

- To manage the HR System to ensure that electronic employee records are accurate and up to date. This will include responsibility for data entry, and regular and ad-hoc reporting. 

- To keep and maintain all school and Central HR policies , both electronic and printed, ensuring that all current HR related policies and procedures are available

- Ensure that training needs identified in the appraisal process are carried out and recorded, including developing and maintaining a staff training record of statutory training, e.g. fire safety, first aid etc.

- To administer absence reporting and recording processes, ensuring that all absence is reported, recorded and followed up on with the relevant line manager in accordance with the appropriate policies and procedures

For this post you will ideally have an Enhanced DBS clearance, and have excellent experience in a HR generalist capacity. 

You will be working within a school, so will have previous HR experience within an education environment. 

You will also ideally be IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE to start this post.
