HR Advisor opportunity available to start immediately on a temporary basis working for a leading organisation based in the Wakefield area, West Yorkshire. There is a possibility that this role could be made permanent for the right individual. 

This role will cover core aspects of the employee lifecycle from recruitment screening, coordinating interviews, through to providing advice and guidance on investigations, disciplinary issues and grievances.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• First line HR related queries on Employee Relation Issues
• Able to give advice on HR policies and procedures and provide advice to Line Managers on casework, supporting with investigations up to final stage
• Coach and upskill Managers on employee relation issues
• Build and maintain an effective partnership relationship with Trade Union representatives
• Occupational health
• Support high level disciplinary cases up to dismissal
• Report and collate site absence data
• Sickness absence management
• Involvement in HR project work
• Site champion for employee engagement
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations and requirements
• HR administration duties

Experience and Skills include:-

• CIPD qualified or working towards
• Knowledge of employment law, policies and procedures
• Experience of dealing with employee relation issues including disciplinary and grievance cases
