I am currently recruiting for a very exciting position for somebody looking to take their next step within an HR Advisory role on a 6 month contract with the possible view to go permanent.

Key tasks & responsibilities

• Processing invoices and purchase orders
• Preparing offer letters, contracts of employment, reference requests, variation of contract letters, etc.
• Maintaining all personnel records and the HR database, covering both manual and computerised(SAP HR) records, ensuring compliance, Data Protection and best practice procedures
• Providing a first class customer service to Line Managers and employees on basic HR issues, support for interviews, disciplinary hearings and investigation meetings as required
• Resolving ad hoc queries, issues or concerns with regards to their employment details and the interpretation of HR polices
• To provide administrative support to the HR team
• Providing data for payroll

The Person/ Skills required

• Committed to Human Resources and maintaining high standards
• Have excellent communication skills
• Competent in numeracy and IT skills including Word and Excel
• Have basic working knowledge of UK Employment Law
• Be able to work in a high pressured environment
• Have a confident and friendly approach with a focus on customer service
• Be self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision

• Computer literate – SAP HR competency preferred

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a diverse range of internal and external customers
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience in HR support role (minimum 12 months) ideally with some exposure to employee relations.
