HR Advisor – Law Firm

Our Central London Law client is on the lookout for an experienced HR Advisor to support a large HR team, with a salary on offer of between £30,000 - £35,000

What does the role entail?

As the HR Advisor you will be integral to supporting the HR and legal teams with general administrative support as well as the opportunity to work on exciting projects which will aid your development as a HR practitioner.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, leading on all general HR enquiries from the employment body, and leading on processes including flexible working applications, parental leave applications, probation reviews, and absence management. You will play a key role in policy development, as well as drafting contracts and participating in high-level ER investigations. You will also participate in Salary Review projects, succession planning and be integral to updating current policies and procedures.

What skills will you have?

Ideally, you will have worked in a HR Advisory capacity for 1-2 years previously and have had exposure and understanding of a Legal or Professional Services environment. You will be highly computer literate and carry a relevant HR qualification.

You will be a highly skilled communicator, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills which will see you effectively liaise with the employment body. You are proactive and take initiative in your work, and are able to meet tight deadlines whilst prioritising a varied workload.
