My client is a leading Company internationally within its industry sector. They deliver world-class products and services and they have an urgent, exciting varied opportunity for an HR Advisor.

HR Advisor (Generalist) – full time

Reporting to the Group Head of HR and supporting the Managing Director, this Generalist role will drive the HR Agenda forward. You will need to be pro-active, implementing and contributing to projects. You will make the HR Administration and Systems top notch while being as cost-effective as possible. Other duties include:

• Employee relations

• Managing and supporting recruitment and selection in order to attract and retain the best talent and be sure to be an employer of choice, while keeping within budget

• Support Compensation and Benefits reviews against job evaluation and benchmarking

• Provide advice to employees regarding Company Benefit Plans

• Support line managers with performance management to maximise engagement and effectiveness

• Ensure adherence to employment law, policies and practices - creating an environment where people flourish and deliver their best

• Being an ambassador for company values and ensuring best practice in all line manager people related activities

• Co-ordinating the life cycle of the Graduate programme

• Manage induction, probation, contracts and authorise and instruct payroll of any changes

• Deal with all routing matters promptly and efficiently

• Maintain the HR database

• Support the planning and organisation of training

• Ensure all documentation is up to date

You will need to be organised, able to multi-task and prioritise along with having excellent influencing skills. This is a complete Generalist role, supporting the whole HR lifecycle with monthly HR reporting. You will be striving to continuously improve HR services.

You will have a degree in Human Resources (or equivalent)

Generalist HR and administration experience

Experience of online recruitment and competency based selection

Good levels of IT, including MS Office and databases

MS AX is desirable

Ideally you will be CIPD qualified and have an engineering or manufacturing background

Salary £25,000 to £30,000 dependant on experience
