Our client based in Staines is seeking a HR Payroll Administrator to carry out all Payroll duties and assist the HR Manager with a varied workload for their multi-site business which is actively growing.

What does the role involve?

As the HR Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for all Payroll activities, accurately carrying out monthly Payroll preparation, to include expenses and deductions and preparation of Payroll journals for the franchise managers.
You will also be responsible for HR Administration assisting the HR Manager in their varied workload ranging from entry and maintenance of employee data, to covering different aspects of the recruitment and leaving process, as well as ensuring managers have the right templates for grievance, disciplinary and performance management issues. Every day is different so it is likely you will receive a variety of HR tasks as well as some general administrative activities.

To be successful in this role you will….

You will have worked in a similar role and will have experience covering the full Payroll lifecycle for a large number of employees (our client has 500-600), as well as exposure to HR ideally but not essentially for a multi-site organisation. Our client is looking at moving to a larger office to accommodate growth, however the current office is open plan seating the HR, Payroll and customer complaints individuals as well as the 2 directors.

The salary bracket for this role is £25,000-£27,000 depending on your level of experience. Our client also expects to wait for people on notice with a start date available as soon as your notice period allows.

As well as a competitive salary a pension scheme is on offer, as well as the opportunity to grow your holiday entitlement by 1 day a year for the first 5 years. On top of this there are regular events held with the franchises that you will be involved in.
