Due to an increase in workloads, my client needs a capable, pro-active and experienced administrator to support the team with a range of tasks to ensure they maintain the high-quality support they offer their employees.

The Company

My client is a large employer within the Swindon area. This company has a lot of growth within many departments so recruitment is on an up which means the Human Resources department to assist with daily tasks.

The Role

This role is to start as soon as possible and will be for a duration of 6 months. You will be the core of a very busy team and you will be required to go the extra mile to get your work load completed to a high standard!

On a day to day basis you will have to assist the HR Team with various roles:

• Payroll deadlines, gaining compliance details from employees and sending out various parts of information to the company.
• Proactively own and manage the HR Team’s group inboxes
• Act as a confident and proactive first point of contact
• Organise probation review meetings for hiring managers and new starters, including the booking of meeting rooms, ensuring the correct paperwork is provided
• To take ownership of day-to-day Recruitment, L&D and HR administration for a number of business units
• Orgainsing Interviews
• Booking Interview Rooms
• Absence Reports
• Scanning and filing

Your Experience

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HR Administration and the background knowledge of Human Resources to be able to come into this role and hit the ground running.

• Excellent excel skills as you will be completing Pivot tables, Mail Merges and V Look up's on a daily basis.
• An excellent telephone manner is required, as you will be liaising with internal employees every day.
• Experience of diary coordination, booking meetings, developing timelines etc. preferably via MS Outlook
• Experience of working in a confidential environment
• Demonstrable experience of providing administrative support in a high-volume working environment
• Experience as acting as a first point of contact for a busy team, demonstrating a confident approach to managing queries and redirecting stakeholders
• Strong experience of handling high volumes of email and telephone communication effectively
