Job Purpose

To provide administrative support to HR Employee Relations functions relating to employees, inclusive of new starters, variations and leavers, including supporting the issue of all contractual documentation relating to these employees
To provide customer focussed HR administrative support, specifically resolving basic pay, pension and contractual related issues on a day to day basis in support of the wider people management arena and by providing a comprehensive HR service to managers and staff within the organisation.

Generic Responsibilities / Job Family Administration Support
• To provide a wide range of administrative services which may include taking notes for meetings, diary / travel arrangements, attending to visitors, word processing and document production
• To be a point of contact for a Service function and provide appropriate and timely information and advice to callers
• To undertake project tasks or more specialised administrative work relating to a specific function or department
• To create, maintain and interrogate data systems, ensuring the integrity and safekeeping of all data

Specific Responsibilities

Provide dedicated Employee Relations Support including, HR payroll, pension and contractual administration support to staff, line managers and business partners.
Support the investigation and resolution of a wide range of Employee Relations related issues in a fair, consistent and timely manner

Support the review, drafting and production of all HR Employee Relations related documents (e.g. associated policies, contracts of employment, contract variations and pay deductions), to ensure they are fit for purpose on a regular basis. Assist in
the development of policies and procedures in reaction to legislative changes specifically relating to this area

Process all payments resulting from Salary Sacrifice such as Childcare Vouchers and Cycle to Work Schemes and maintain the administration arrangements associated with the deduction of union subscriptions

Responsible for delivering a wide variety of pay related administrative tasks including pay claims and expenses, annual leave calculations and allocations, and providing support to the HR Advisor (Employee Relations) with the production of
contractual documentation to support new starters, variations and leavers Assist when required, with the input of all relevant pay changes on the current pay system in a timely manner to ensure that all staff are paid accurately and on time

In liaison with the HR Advisor (Employee Relations), support the provision of information to pension providers relating to starters and leavers and provide administrative support to auto enrollment and year end processes

Maintain excellent relationships with external stakeholders to ensure the accurate and effective delivery of payroll services

Proactively use a system thinking approach to ensure HR Systems are accurately maintained whilst providing and implementing recommendations for improvements and working practices

Participate in any HR related projects or policy and procedure
