One of the largest local authority based in London are looking to recruit two Housing Project Managers to join their growing team on a 6 months contract. It is a full-time role Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
Purpose of the role:
- Effectively project-manage a range of housing refurbishment projects, maintaining clear communications with members of the project team, managers and other staff, contractors and residents.
- Provide full range of professional services, from inception to final account, for the Property Services department.
- Predominantly working on the Council’s Housing Stock, works range from fire safety works, new roofs, windows, kitchen & bathrooms, external decoration programmes and a wide variety of M&E Service contracts. Occasional works on non-housing schemes will also be required to be undertaken.
- Experience of using the NHF Schedule of Rates would be an advantage however an ability to adapt quickly to an ever-changing environment and be able deal with a wide variety of different schemes.
The council is commencing a new 10 year Framework Agreement with three different contractors, you will be expected to work across all three of the work streams and on all of the different work activities as identified above.
