One of the largest local authorities based in London are looking for a Housing Options Officer on a 3 months contract with the possibility of further extensions. It is a full-time role Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. The role will be work from home until further notice.
- To provide excellent online and phone customer care for clients who are at risk of homelessness.
- To interview and make an initial assessment of members of the public who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
- To provide written and verbal advice to customers and their advocates on housing options available.
- Liaise with excluders and referral to the appropriate Housing Needs team.
Due to the nature of the role candidates must have some knowledge of the Housing Act 1996, if you have the required experience and skill set apply now for immediate consideration.
