We have a great opportunity for a Housing Advisor to cover Bury but work remotely whilst COVID guidance is in place
The role
- To be the first point of contact for customers who have a housing related enquiry
- To ensure statutory duties as defined in housing legislation, case law and statutory guidance are implemented
- To undertake solution based interviews with customers using an early intervention and prevention approach to identify by negotiation and mediation an appropriate and sustainable outcome for the customer which meets their housing needs
Requirements
- Knowledge of Homeless Reduction Act 2017
- Knowledge of making section 184 decisions.
- Be able to work autonomously and work remotely (under current COVID guidance)
- Excellent customer service skills
