REED Sheffield are recruiting on behalf of a national supported housing association for workers with experience of working with mental health and substance misuse to work in a hostel and supported accommodation in Derby. Based in Derby City Centre, and just outside the City Centre, you will be providing support and advocacy to those who have found themselves homeless and are at their most vulnerable.
The hostel is the first step on road to recovery. It is a safe and secure place, with a dedicated alcohol dependency unit. You will be there to enable people to take their first steps onto independent living. The secure accommodation is the next step and is lone working.
The roles are temporary, but ongoing, with shifts to suit you and your lifestyle. There are a mixture of earlies, lates and waking nights available. Pay is £9.50 per hour.
All successful candidates will be fully registered with REED Social Care and need an Enhanced DBS check - £40 cost initially but refunded after 100 hours worked.
