I am seeking talented Health and Social Care Assessors based in Caerphilly  who will have the opportunity to teach and mentor the new generation of Health and Social Care Assessors. I am keen to hear from Health and Social Care industry led experts who have a strong Health and Social Care background & ideally possess an assessors award A1, D32, TAQA, CAVA etc.

As a Health and Social Care assessor you will be responsible for:

- Visiting & assessing learners within their workplace as well as utilising your skills and experience in order to help guide learners in achieving their qualifications
-You will be allocated a caseload of learners who are wanting to attain their Health care qualifications (from various levels)
-You will support your caseload of learners through face to face discussions, remote assessments and e-learning portfolio system
-Plan the assessment process with learners and employers; observe, record assessment, feedback and complete all documentation
-You will set your learners reasonable and measurable targets that will stretch their learning capabilities and retain their interest
-Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners

You will need to have your own transport and be willing to travel within a designated geographical area from your home location

Our ideal candidate will hold:

-A relevant assessing qualification (A1, D32, TAQA, CAVA etc)
-A relevant teaching qualification (7307, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert.Ed etc)
-A minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification
-Occupational competency within the Health & Social Care industry
-Proficient in the use of e-portfolio systems
-Experienced in delivering functional skills
-Classroom/Workshop delivery experience
