Reed HR are working with a Charitable organisation in order to recruit a Head of Training Development. 

This role will take the lead in providing innovative training and development for the Charity' volunteers, and young people.

You will develop and deliver training packages, design materials and courses in line with best practice and current thinking with regards to education of young people and volunteers. 

Working with, and overseeing the Development team to ensure effective design and development of training, allocating tasks / KPI's, and managing their performance and professional development.

 Some of the roles and responsibilities of this role are as follows: 

- To take a strategic overview of the current training plan, reviewing and establishing a new plan in line with the organisations strategic focus. 

- Manage and deliver training development projects for young and adult training in like with the organisations strategy. 

- To lead and manage the Training development team.

- To manage the development budget, providing forecasts and projections for future plans. 

- To liaise with key stakeholders and members of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the effective and successful running of the Training Development division.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked at a strategic level, designing and developing Training material and strategy from scratch, including delivering L&D training to young people (between the ages of 12 - 18), as well as adults in an educational capacity.
