REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Public Sector Orginisation.

To provide strategic and operational leadership for the Repairs and Maintenance Service to ensure the delivery of a high performing, cost effective and innovative service

To work collaboratively with other public sector services to ensure the Repairs and Maintenance service can deliver a high quality customer focussed service to customers and end users

To work with other public sector services to contribute to the implementation and delivery of the City Growth and Prevent agenda

The post holder will be expected to ensure the service promotes a culture demonstrating

• Contribute to the corporate delivery of the Council’s ambitions and strategic outcomes, providing a clear sense of direction, positive thinking and purpose.

• To provide strategic guidance and leadership both to officers reporting directly to the post holder and to others with whom the post holder has no managerial responsibility, as well as partners, stakeholders and Elected Members
• To take lead responsibility for effective business, financial and budgetary management including accurate forecasting, monitoring performance reporting and forward planning to manage the budget and ensure effective early intervention to address potential pressures and clear and effective financial management and ownership by all budget holders within the service.
