An exciting opportunity has arisen at a market leading media agency for a London based Head of Programmatic. 

This agency has a team of specialists dedicated to delivering client facing programmatic strategy, and they are in need of a dynamic leader to lead them towards further growth and success. In return you will be rewarded with an excellent benefits package including private healthcare and flexible working hours. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering cross channel global programmatic solutions, with in-depth knowledge of DSPs and RTB. 

The Role

Delivering upon the Board’s strategic direction in terms of growth, margin and expansion plans specific to verticals and territory.
- Driving sales via the close management of a small sales team responsible for new business whilst inspiring confidence within existing core clients to maximise business development opportunities.
- Hands-on management of rapidly growing team with the core ability to enthuse and grow staff within the journey.
- Overseeing operational efficiencies to drive margin and growth across the group business.
- Responsibility for driving London based opportunities in the SME and Agency sector whilst building a broader sales pipeline for the business.
- Overseeing reporting, analysis and recommendations to improve activity in line with client objectives.
- Understanding the overall profitability of the Performance Display team
- Develop programmatic strategies for various clients across the portfolio, evolving based on client need and feedback.
- Development of device agnostic strategy, including integration with agency mobile ad serving partners.
- Working in conjunction with the digital ad operations team to ensure agency best practises are being followed at all times.
- Aiding in the execution of programmatic strategies along with performance display managers and planners.
- Creating reporting processes that allow for the reporting of all insights to client in a timely manner.
- Key decision maker through the vetting process of best in class technology within the programmatic space.
- Discover and deliver credible third-party technology solutions of choice and deploy at scale and speed across the relevant client base.
- Ensuring the agency is maximising advantage in the latest advancements in programmatic display buying.

What you will need: 

- 6 years' experience in at least 3-4 programmatic specialist environments
- Demonstrable ability to build programmatic stratgies across sectors & territories
- Outstanding communications skills, able to manage team/stakeholders
- Commercially astute & able to negogiate 
- Expertise in Real Time Bidding 
- Able to build and execute upon custom audience segments and work alongside DMP
activation specialists.

Salary - minimum £60k - negotiable.
