Having started life in a small home office 20 years ago, our client has successfully grown to provide global financial services, employing over 1060 people in the UK and over 140 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Continued growth and success means they are now looking for someone to strategically manage and create communications collateral across the group of businesses.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll have a genuine opportunity to shape the direction the business takes in the future with specific regard to its industry leading Financial Product. 

Strategically driving business growth, you'll ensure the planning, development & execution of marketing communications activities on both self-identified projects and stakeholder requested projects, sees the Marketing Team as an integral part of the Product driven business.

Leading the Marketing team, you'll be a proven, strategic Marketing Professional able to achieve instant credibility and recognition, working alongside the Executive Team to set the strategic direction for its marketing plans.

With overall responsibility for the annual Marketing budget, you'll lead the Marketing team to develop a clear marketing strategy across all channels; plan and execute campaigns to drive and develop the pipeline; identify target audiences and devise campaigns that engage and create new business opportunities; engage and manage internal relationships as well as creative, digital and media buying agencies.

Passionate about delivering the very best that both you and your team can, you will continually seek to understand and challenge the needs, wants and aspirations of your clients, encouraging and promoting the personal development of your team along the way.

A keen team player with a natural ability to lead, develop and progress a team, you'll have an innovative approach to problem solving, be hugely organised, unflappable when faced with multi and time bound projects. 

Quite naturally you'll have outstanding communication and negotiation skills, able to form strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both quickly and easily.

It goes without saying, you'll have a degree or previous knowledge in a Marketing, preferably within Financial Services (but don't worry, this is not a deal breaker) have successfully created marketing campaigns, worked with/managed external agencies and have experience of setting the strategic direction of a team.

We'll expect you to have comprehensive understanding of digital, strategic marketing, PR, communications and brand, understand customer segmentation and the marketing process through from briefing to implementation. A passion for protecting and enhancing brand image through brand development would be hugely advantageous.
