Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting a successful facilities management business in their search for a new finance professional to support and facilitate business growth. Due to the required duties, this role would suit practice professionals seeking their first move into industry.
The Group Reporting Accountant will work alongside the Group Financial Controller and provide sound technical accounting support, consolidating group accounts and providing month, quarter and year end management.
A few key duties include
Prepare monthly, half year and annual Group consolidation
Prepare financial statements and covenant analysis for the bank – monthly, quarterly, annual
Prepare monthly management accounts
Prepare year end statutory accounts – all subsidiaries
Prepare year-end tax returns – all subsidiaries
Central review and support for year-end audit preparation
Develop consolidation model and analysis
Complete inter-company matrix and inter-company trading analysis monthly
Develop half year and year end R&A template to enable enhanced and accelerated reporting including Primary statements and notes
Implement new accounting standards and update disclosure requirements
This role will suit an ACA or ACCA professional who has the required technical ability. Experience in IFRS and UK Gaap will, be key here in addition to experience working with/for a UK PLC.
