Reed Finance are supporting a well established and growing Plc who require a new immediately available senior finance professional to provide statutory and reporting support for the business and subsidiaries. Due to business demands and their year end requirements they now require a Group Financial Controller initially in an interim capacity to work alongside the Group Finance Director.
A few key duties/requirements include:
Monthly & year end group consolidations
All aspects of the production of “glossy” accounts and working closely with Stakeholders both internally and externally
Preparation of reports and analysis for Audit Committee and plc Board
Supporting junior team where necessary
Liaising directly with auditors at a senior level
All Statutory reporting in line with relevant requirements
This role will suit an ambitious, fully qualified and self starting professional with the ability to operate in initially as a stand alone Controller. Strong communication and Sage 50/200 experience will be key here to be able to hit the ground running - the role is a permanent requirement but may well start as an interim option - experience with a Plc is also crucial here.
